Young Families
Young Families at Judea Reform Congregation
At Judea Reform Congregation we want to help young families connect for the sake of their children, and their grown-ups! Engagement for families with young children can be found in many categories of our programming and worship. There are opportunities in Religious School, on Shabbat, and on Holidays. We hope your growing family will join us in any and all ways that feel right for you!
Shabbat 1-2-3
Join us on the First Friday of every month for a Shabbat sing-along and storytime at 5:00pm in the Bossen Library. Stay for a pizza dinner and some or all of our Family Shabbat Service at 6:00pm.
Holidays 1-2-3
For the High Holy Days and Passover, we offer special services for out littlest members. Each year we offer Rosh Hashanah 1-2-3, Kol Nidre 1-2-3, and Pesach 1-2-3. These services are abbreviated and often led by our Music Director, Zemer Allan Friedman.
Gesher (Religious School)
Gesher is our Religious School program for 2 and 3 year olds and their parents. It meets weekly and focuses on making Jewish friends, finding Jewish joy, and playing together in synagogue spaces.
PJ Library
Do you know about PJ Library? This is a great and FREE resource for families raising Jewish children. Each month PJ Library will send a new, age appropriate book to your family that follows themes of the Jewish year. Sign-up on their website!
