Community Shabbat
What is Community Shabbat?
Community Shabbat is our monthly Saturday Shabbat service aimed at fostering community and connection among our congregants. This worship service (and Torah reading), is participatory, engaging, and followed by a catered lunch.
Members who regularly attend this service appreciate that they can drive during daylight hours, catch up with old friends, meet with longtime chavurot, and spend extra time schmoozing with our Rabbis.
The luncheon is catered by Brandwein's Bagels and features an assortment of bagels and cream cheese, fruit, veggies, chicken salad, tuna salad, egg salad, and a rotating assortment of desserts. There is always coffee, tea, and water, as well.
We hope you will join us to worship and get to know our community. You can register for an upcoming Community Shabbat on our Calendar.
Sponsoring Community Shabbat
Our program is growing and thriving, and so are food prices! In order to continue feeding a crowd and welcoming all who want to join us, we are asking for donations from attendees to support our lunch service. When you sign-up, you will given the opportunity to donate to support our Community Shabbat program!
