B'Mitzvah at Judea Reform Congregation

Preparing to become a B'Mitzvah begins years before a child reaches the date of their service and celebration. Our community supports families through the process — in our Religious School, through one of our recommended team of caring tutors, in one-on-one meetings with the rabbi, and in the preparations for the final service and any celebration to follow.

Participating in Religious School is part of becoming B'Mitzvah, and our seventh grade program, Darchei Mitzvah, is specially designed to help students appreciate their new roles as Jewish adults.

We assign B'Mitzvah dates two years in advance.

If your child needs a B'Mitzvah date, or you have questions about renting our space for a luncheon or dinner following your child's simcha please contact Julie Fishkin, Life Cycle & Pastoral Care Manager, 919-489-7062, ext 227, who coordinates the entire B'Mitzvah process.
