The committees listed below assist with the financial, governance, and operational work of running the synagogue.
Ethics Committee
The Ethics Committee is an independent committee appointed by the synagogue President comprised of congregants. The Ethics Committee supports the implementation of the Ethics Code and is governed by the processes outlined in that Code as it relates to receiving and addressing allegations of unethical behavior. Finance Committee
The Finance Committee, together with the Executive Director and the Board of Trustees, is responsible for the financial practices and health of Judea Reform Congregation. Governance Committee
The Governance Committee’s main role is to help the Board - and the congregation - reach its full potential. Human Resources Committee
The Human Resources Committee assists the Executive Director and Board through the recommendation of and review of sound HR policies and practices at Judea Reform Congregation. Have a question about the HR Committee, contact Emily Young, Executive Director
Investment Committee
The Investment Committee develops and executes, subject to Board approval, an investment program of all funds that considers risk, rates of return, liquidity, and maturities of investments to meet Congregation cash flow needs. Questions? Contact Robert Roubey, Committee Chair.
Nominating Committee
The role of the Nominating Committee is to identify, qualify and propose the slate of board members to the membership of Judea Reform Congregation. The Nominating Committee shall also submit a slate of officers for election at the annual meeting of the congregation. Questions?
